FOR many people a trip to the dentist can be daunting, but the new owner of YV Dental, Dr Hannah Grace, is committed to turning it into a positive experience.
After completing her Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science at Griffith University, Hannah graduated with a Master of Dentistry with Distinction and received the award for Academic Excellence.
She spent several years working with Dr Dallin Leneham at Canungra Dental before deciding to look for her own practice.
“I started as a patient there and when I completed my study asked him for a job.”
“He mentored me through my first few years which was great.”
She took over YV Dental earlier this year.
“My main goal is to create an atmosphere that is vibrant and everyone is happy,” says Dr Hannah.
“It reflects on the clinic and the patients. I want to do that for our community.”
“So many people have a fear of dentists and I want it to be a happy atmosphere for people who come in.”
“I want it to be more educational and patients coming for preventative work, their six month check ups and keeping on top of their dental health.”
A Tamborine local, Dr Hannah loves the local community.
Her bubbly nature is infectious, and her down-to-earth ways put patients at ease.
Outside of work, you will find Hannah riding her horse and may have heard her singing at local events, such as Anzac Day at Tamborine and Vietnam Veterans’ Day at Canungra where she performed the National anthem.
She is a caring clinician who loves to get to know each and every one of her patients personally.
