Defence drop-in session: Defence held a community walk-in information session regarding the divestment of Defence sites in Queensland at the Canungra Area Golf Club on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The Canungra Area Golf Club would like to thank the community for coming along and asking questions. Hole in one: Congratulations to Neil Connolly on his hole in one on the 5^th Hole on Thursday April 2. He also won the hole in one jackpot a handy $1500.

Chicks with Sticks: Tally Valley, Boomerang Hills (nee Boomerang Farm) and Tallebudgera Lady Golfers all headed to Canungra for the Chicks with Sticks Stableford Teams event. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and the winners were … Tally Valley. Everyone had a fabulous day and enjoyed our famous morning tea and lunch. Next game is at Boomerang Hills.

Tallai v Canungra Max Baker Cup: A contingent for 16 Canungra Golfers headed to Tallai Golf Club for our reinstated inaugural club challenge. A tricky nine hole, par three course made for some interesting scores. Local knowledge was the key with Tallai taking the win. A return game at Canungra is later in the year. A great day was had by all.

Mixed Foursome Matchplay 2026 winners are Leigh Parsons and Mark Watson. Congratulations.

X Cup Fridays have finished for the summer months. Thank you to those of you who supported this initiative. A massive shout out to X Golf Ashmore for their sponsorship. Congratulations to Brendan Crew on winning the Shoot Out Jackpot on the final day $480.
