Queensland Small Business Month (QSBM) is happening again in 2025 and is just around the corner.

The Canungra Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event during May, QSBM, this year.

Luke Cecil, President of the Canungra Chamber of Commerce, said “It is a chance for local business owners to come together and network, to learn from each other, and strengthen their connections to build their businesses.”

“Last year’s Can-nections networking dinner event held in the Canungra School of Arts Hall, was a resounding success, with very positive feedback received from attendees. This year’s executive committee wants to build on that success, by replicating last year’s event, but doing it slightly differently, and even better,” said Luke.

The Chamber is seeking four local business owners who have walked the path to success, and who are passionate about sharing the wisdom and insights they have gained, over time, for the benefit of fellow business owners and entrepreneurs.

The panel discussion will be led by an experienced facilitator, and will be followed by an engaging and interactive problem-solving exercise, in pairs, to encourage innovative thinking, and to turn a business challenge into a growth opportunity.

“This year’s event offers attendees a valuable opportunity to network and build partnerships that support local business growth,” said Luke.

“Panellists will share practical insights and strategies that have driven their own success, equipping guests with problem-solving skills and critical thinking tools to apply in their own businesses.”

The 2025 Can-nections event will be held at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, 852 Lamington National Park Road, Canungra on Thursday May 15, from 5.30pm for a 6pm start until 9pm.

Tickets are $10 for non-members and free for Chamber Members.

A delicious two-course meal and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided, and there is also a chance to win lucky door prizes, being two $100 shop local cards, in the business card draw.

Tickets will become available mid-late April, via the Canungra Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
