Canungra Chamber of Commerce has distributed funds from the 2023 Turning Canungra Pink event to Canungra Council Queensland and Pink Assist.

Chamber President, Nambok Intharangsy, said over $60,000 was raised last year, with half of the funds going to Canungra Council Queensland and the other half going to Pink Assist – a local organisation that helps people in the Canungra community who are undergoing treatment for cancer.

In 2024, Turning Canungra Pink will transition to a new organisation Community Cancer Care which will oversee the events and fundraising.

“This is a great opportunity for the Chamber to focus on local business issues and for the new organisation to continue to grow this event for the benefit of so many people in our community,” said Nambok.
