DEVOTEES of Country Music in the Scenic Rim will be able to experience their own open air festival this year.

Woodstock Farm on Plunkett Road, Tamborine will be the venue for the one day “Legends of Country” event running from 11.30am through to 9.30pm on Saturday, May 31.

The 121-hectare Woodstock Farm has secured some of the biggest names in Australian country music to boot.

They include Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Casey Barnes, and Sara Storer, as well as former Australian Idol artist Wesley Dean, Star Maker finalist Briana Dinsdale, and Rusty Pickups.

Woodstock Farm is the home of the Queensland-based charity Youth Enterprise Trust (YET) and proceeds from the event will go towards the charity’s essential work of improving the lives of young people.

With great music, great food, a unique setting to see Australian country music stars, and a genuine rustic charm, Legends Of Country is sure to attract a big crowd.

YET spokesperson Don McDonald said they were pleased to present an event that will bring together country music legends and a passionate community of fans. 

“Woodstock Farm is the perfect venue to showcase the beauty of the Gold Coast hinterland, and we can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with music lovers of all ages,” he said.
