THE Beech Mountain Association had a very well attended, very short, meeting in June, chaired by Lisa Groom.
It was theorised that the destruction of part of the rainforest patch at the old school site was the work of vandals, probably children.
After cake and a cuppa, the attendees were instructed by a Scenic Rim Council-employed consultant to write on small slips of paper what they would like to see happen at the Old School Site.
About 100 slips of paper later, the consultant took them all home in a box and we now await the outcome.
