THE town of Canungra shone at the recent Christmas markets night, with D J Smith Park lit up and local businesses doing a roaring trade throughout the town.
The annual event, organised by the Canungra Chamber of Commerce attracted locals and visitors to the town, with many people coming from the Gold Coast and Brisbane for the event.
The next Christmas event for Canungra is St Luke’s Church Christmas Carols, featuring former Ten Tenors member Stuart Morris, on Wednesday December 17.
