Developers come to town
On Monday May 16 the new owners of some land in the Township are putting on a presentation for the residents and business people of Canungra.
The forum will be held at the Canungra Bowls Club at 6.30pm.
Representatives of Lascorp Pty Ltd will put forward their ideas planned for their recently acquired land in town. It promises to be a very informative event and it is suggested that any and all interested parties should attend.
Usually this forum is for the Canungra Community Consultative Committee which is used as a liaison between residents, business people, the local Police, Council and the Department of Main Roads, however, on this occasion the evening will be dedicated to this presentation. The next CCC meeting will take place at 6.30pm on Monday June 6 at the Canungra Bowls Club, all are welcome.

The Changing Face of Canungra Business
Local businesses adapted quickly to the challenge of government restrictions brought in because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With health and government regulations changing daily, on Monday 23rd March the main street changed from a hive of activity as businesses implemented the changes.
Space restrictions meant that businesses have had to curtail the number of customers in the shops and mark out places for customers to stand.
