While The Wayward Johnsons shows have a reputation for their good vibes and fun times the band alsopride themselves on delivering a dynamic and professional sound.
Boasting three Qld Conservatorium of Music alumni in Joe, John Quirk and Alex Grodecki and with local sound engineer Devin Starasts joining the team for their live shows audiences can expect an accomplished and explosive musical experience.
Steve said, ‘We wanted to take things to the next level in terms of our professionalism and we’ve landed on our feet with Devinjoining us as sound engineer for our live performances. Devin has been areal asset to our live sound and we’re stoked to be able to support a Tamborine music industry local’
The band have developed a enthusiastic following on the mountain with knock out shows this year at St Bernards, Club Tamborine, Cangungra hotel and numerous private functions.
“We love the Canungra community and the awesome party vibe that community brings to our shows. It’s such a privilege and also just such great fun to be able to bring people together and play as part of this amazing community”
“We’re committed to putting on a great show but also like to bring an element of fun and get people involved. The Chocolate Wheel of Doom whilst quite ridiculous has been an absolute hit with fans!
The local op shops have proved a real gold mine and we have some authentic 70s vintage prizes up for grabs on the wheel for the show in September. We’re really looking forward to a fun night for the whole community.
We’ll be dressed in our 70s best and invite you to join us!
