It’s been a challenging season for the Canungra Owls Under 7s, but on Saturday morning, the team soared to a well-deserved victory — their first of the year — and they did it with huge smiles and a whole lot of heart.
After weeks of showing up, working hard, and learning the ropes of the beautiful game, the young Owls finally had their moment to shine. Every player gave it their all, and the teamwork, determination, and energy on the field paid off with a win that felt extra special.
Coaches Charlotte and Symke said the kids have been improving week by week, and this match showed just how far they’ve come — not just in skill, but in spirit.
“They never gave up. They’ve been learning to pass, stay in position, and trust each other. This win was the result of that hard work,” the coaches shared.
