Throughout May, Scenic Rim Regional Council will be running events across the region to celebrate our diverse small businesses and connect them to support, grants and partnerships that will help them thrive.
Listed below are the events held in Canungra and Tamborine Mountain:
- DESBT Small Business Hub held at Tamborine Library on May 2. Complete an eight point questionnaire about your small business to join the hub.
- Tamborine Chamber of Commerce Event held at Picnic Real Food Bar, Tamborine on May 9. Learn about the latest updates in employment law and how to be compliant. Come away with valuable information and practical tips to help you navigate these changes effectively.
- Short-term Accommodation Information Session held at Canungra School of Arts Hall on May 16. These information sessions are designed to provide business owners with the information they require to make an informed decision regarding launching or growing their business in a tourism capacity.
- Social Media Workshop with Tracey Sheen held at North Stores, North Tamborine on May 21. Learn to set and achieve realistic goals and manage social media to grow your small business.
- DESBT Small Business Hub held at Canungra VIC on May 23. Complete an 8-point questionnaire about your small business to join the hub.
