The Scenic Rim Regional Expo is a vibrant new annual event showcasing the region’s local farmers, innovation in agricultural land management and production, unique lifestyle products and produce including food, wine and craft beer.

The Expo is essential for those seeking to grow their networks and their businesses, experience the best of the area and looking for careers in the agricultural sector.

For those looking for information about farming and technology, there will be farming and business displays from Barzzen Scenic Rim, Norco Agrisolutions, the Queensland Farmers Federation and the Fire Ant Eradication Program.

One of the highlights will be the machinery displays by Dover and Sons, SEQ Tractors and Allclass Kubota where you can talk to the staff about the best equipment for your farm or property.

Everything from tractors to tools and equipment designed and manufactured for efficient and productive sustainable bio-intensive farming will be on display on one site.

For the families there will be working dog and horsemanship demonstrations as well as a wide variety of business stalls from country sellers who are travelling to Harrisville just for the expo.

There will be plenty of fresh farm produce on sale from Towri Sheep Cheeses, Harrisville Honey and Tracey’s Tucker Bag – so you’ll be sure to have some fabulous fresh food to bring home.

This expo is essential for any student who is interested in working in the agricultural sector, with stalls including Plasvac, Dairy Australia and Stanbroke Beef providing a great range of career options and advice.

Scenic Rim Agricultural Expo is held over two days, 1 and 2 September, at 50 Parcells Road, Harrisville.
