My Country Escape won the same award in 2021.

Michelle said this year’s win meant so much to her because she had been unable to attend the award ceremony in 2021, due to covid restrictions.

My Country Escape was judged an outstanding local business which has gone from strength to strength, contributing to the community and supporting local events.

Thoroughbred racing and breeding operation, Aquis Farm, was awarded the Excellence in Agriculture award, achieving a perfect score of 100 in the awards judging.

Aquis Farm was described by judges as a world-class business with a team of experienced vets, trainers, breeders and industry experts to ensure the well-being and success of racehorses.

“It is dedicated to sustainable practices in equine management, environmental stewardship and social responsibility,” they said.
