Global sensation and multiple ARIA Award winning artist Tones And I (Toni Watson)  returned to her roots, performing a one-off gig at Beechmont’s Providence Farm Hall, the location of her first video shoot in 2018.

Tones played to a lush hillside of friends, residents and families of the Beechmont community as the sun set, creating a truly memorable moment for Scenic Rim locals.

“It was so much fun to be back on the mountain and play some music for the community at a venue that is so special to me,” she said.

The Beechmont performance was part of a busking tour up the east coast of Australia, described as a gentle nod to Tones’ early career where she packed her things and drove to Byron Bay to try her hand at busking in 2017.

It was there she met her curent Manager Jackson Walkden-Brown (of Artists Only) and began living between her van in Byron and Walkden-Brown’s property in Lower Beechmont.

During her time in Beechmont, Tones wrote a slew of successful songs, including recordbreaking global hit ‘Dance Monkey’.

Tegan and Emma McKenzie Carter of Providence Farm said they were pleased to be able to host Tones and bring her music to the mountain.

“It was so exciting to have an event of that scale and a performer of Tones’ calibre at our venue.”

“We normally only do weddings and small community events so this was really inspiring.”

Tones and I has since embarked on an extensive tour of the United States and Europe.
