NEWS AROUND THE TRAPS
CONGRATULATIONS to two of our Canungra ladies who recently competed in the Women’s Golf Gold Coast District Championships. Kathy Darlington won the daily competition for Division 3 and Sharon Faulks was Gross Runner Up in Division 3 for the championships. It is always lovely to see our Canungra players achieve in at other events.
INAUGRAL MIXED FOURSOME MATCHPLAY kicked off with a qualifying round to seed the top 8 teams. These teams are playing their way through knock out rounds for the eventual Mixed Foursome Matchplay Winners 2024.
CART PATHS have started to be concreted through some of the areas damaged during the severe weather events. Thank you to the Community & Recreational Assets Recovery and Resilience Program for the funding to continue improving our lovely golf course.
CANUNGRA OPEN 2024 – The greatly anticipated Canungra Open 2024 will be held on Sunday 21st April. A huge thanks to our major sponsors Drummond Golf and Valdon Contractors. Places are filling up fast so get in early.
GOLF CLUBHOUSE NOW OPEN EVERY DAY – For everyone’s convenience the clubhouse is now open every day. Drop in for a cold drink, a round of golf with an electric cart, a bite to eat or practice on the range.
The Golf Course is open from Dawn to dusk every day. The Clubhouse is open:
Sunday – 7:00am – 1:45pm
Monday – 7:30am – 12:30am
Tuesday – 7:30am – 12:30am (Ladies tee off between 8am & 9am)
Wednesday – 7:30am – 12:30am
Thursday – 7:00am – 4:30pm (Men’s Day – tee times available after 11am)
Friday – 12:00pm – 4:30pm (Ninja Nine open to everyone)
Saturday – 7:00am – 4:30pm (Comp Day – tee times available after 11:30am)
