TAMBORINE Village Lions were invited to cater for the Reliability Trials Club of Brisbane on March 17.
It was an early start for members who attended this monthly fundraising event held in Beaudesert.
This was the second RTCB Bike event we have done. It was very enjoyable and successful for both organisations.
All proceeds will go to Lions ongoing projects.
Anzac Day
Anzac Day will be commemorated at the Tamborine Cenotaph with a Dawn Service. Tamborine Village Lions will be providing and serving a free Gunfire breakfast.
Turning Canungra Pink
TV Lions Club have made a donation of $1,000 to Community Cancer Care.
Markets
Tamborine Village Lions Community Markets on the first Sunday of each month 7am to 12 noon. Stall Site cost $15 – for bookings call Myree on 0487 770 114.
A monthly meat tray raffle will be drawn.
Recycling
We accept all types of small recyclable articles, e.g. household batteries, mobile phones, cans and bottles, ring pulls, printer cartridges, used spectacles and prescription sunglasses at our monthly markets.
Cuppa
All are welcome for a friendly chat and a cuppa at a Community Event organised by Scenic Rim Regional Council, to be held at the Tamborine Memorial Hall Grounds on Friday, May 24 from 10am to 11am.
Tamborine Village Lions Members will serve morning tea and coffee.
Lots of services are available and there are free giveaways like plants, disaster packages etc. See you there!
