CANUNGRA Books and Art are hosting a book launch with Springwood author Trevor Jardine on Sunday July 28 at 11am.
Trevor has recently released “Their Names Shall Live Forever More” which tells the story of the 60th Australian Infantry Battalion during 1916, including the Untold Account of the Needle Trench 10, and the investigation to identify the soldier from this group buried in a grave without a name.
Recently retired from a long teaching career, and with many years involvement with the SES and Rural Bushfire Brigades, Trevor has a genuine interest in Australian military history, particularly WWI.
He undertook a long and detailed research project to write this engaging book and continues to research the identity of unnamed Australian war casualties buried in military cemeteries in France and Belgium.
‘Their Names Shall Live Forever More’ is already attracting interest and support from readers and organisations and will be a welcome addition to collections for those interested in military history.
Join us in the courtyard to hear Trevor talk about the book and his journey writing it.
