WHEN Leanne Cole graduated from the Queensland Police Academy in September, 2011 she was full of enthusiasm for her future career.
It has taken her to the police district of Brown’s Plains for more than eight years and to Beaudesert for three and a half years.
During this time she admits there were many times when she had to confront the ugly parts of life, but she says those times were always heavily outweighed by knowing she was helping many people in their times of need.
“I still love my job and I am particularly happy with my recent appointment as one of the eight officers at the Canungra Police Station,” she said.
“They’re a top crew to work with and it’s also great to be working in a smaller station.”
It’s not the first time Senior Constable Cole has worked in the Canungra district having relieved in the area for two months a few years ago.
